Please note that you will receive a randomly selected hole size.*
Product Details
Made from durable beech wood, these cells provide a cosy, safe space for bees to lay eggs and hibernate over winter, playing a crucial role in supporting biodiversity and pollination in your garden.
Ideal for mason bees, leafcutter bees, and other solitary species, these nesting cells can be positioned in warm, sunny spots around your garden. Place them within a log pile, on a sunny windowsill, or along a garden wall. You can even stack multiple cells together to create your own unique bug hotel. Position each cell about 1/2 meter from the ground with a clear entrance, preferably south-facing, for optimal sunlight exposure. The back of the cell has been designed to latch on to a screw fitting, so you can even hang these bee cells on a wall or tree.
Each bee will use the cell to lay eggs, sealing the entrance with mud or vegetation until the young bees emerge in the spring, ready to continue their vital work in pollination. With 80% of plants relying on insect pollinators, you'll be providing a meaningful contribution to the environment, supporting a healthy ecosystem, and enjoying a flourishing garden.
*Please note that each cell features a unique and randomly selected hole size, which may differ from the one shown in the product image. This variation ensures that your Bee Single Family House will attract a diverse range of solitary bee species, each with specific nesting preferences. By offering multiple hole sizes, we help cater to a variety of wild bee species, ensuring that your garden becomes a welcoming habitat for different pollinators.
