Thanks to its large feeding area, there is plenty of room for various bird species to feed simultaneously! From Straight Seed to Suet Treats, any Ivel Valley Wild Bird Food will be perfect to use on this feeding table. Its design provides easy access for all wild bird species, so we recommend switching up the food you use to attract all the species you could possibly get in your garden. However, we do recommend not using peanuts as they should only be provided through a dedicated mesh feeder to avoid the risk of young birds eating the peanut whole and choking.
The National Trust Ground Feeding Table will allow you to have a change of scenery in your garden as it can easily be transported, so food is not concentrated in one place. Its raised feeding area also reduces the risk of hygiene problems created when birds feed directly from the ground. The stainless-steel mesh bottom allows rainwater to drain through, preventing food from becoming damp and encouraging bacterial build-up.
