Setting up your Hedgehog Barn

Choose a quiet position from the prevailing wind in an area with some cover and pile leaves. We recommend that Hedgehog houses should only be checked and maintained once a year in April-May; just as they come out of hibernation but before the nesting period begins. Another major factor that has caused the decline in Hedgehogs is the lack of natural food sources. If you want to offer more support to your local hogs, you can place Hedgehog food in a shallow dish away from the Hedgehog Barn.
