    Details

our best selling insect and mealworm suet pellet mix - but in mini form!

The Ready Peck range is five years in development; designed alongside an ornithologist to be high in energy and nutritional value for all types of garden birds. When testing out our products we regularly saw Great Tits, Blue Tits, Coal Tits, and Long Tailed Tit, Robins, Starlings, Wrens, Blackbirds and Thrushes (and more!) enjoying Ready Peck seeds and pellets.

Our new Mini Suet Pellets are designed especially with small birds and fledglings in mind. Our Mini Suet Pellets are 3mm wide and, at most, 10mm long; roughly the size of a sunflower seed. They are small enough to flow through tubular seed feeders and tray feeders and are suitable to use straight on the ground or on bird tables. They're around 40% smaller than our regular sized pellets.

Our pellets are free from whole wheat grains - instead we use a blend of Wheat Flour, Oat Flour and Peanut Flour. Using wheat flour (rather than whole grains) can help to deter unwanted garden birds, like Pigeons, who typically look for food with large grains to fill up on.

The Ready Peck range is based on the "five-a-day" nutritional needs for birds, including - suet, oats, seeds, nuts and fruit.

Feed from: Suitable in any tray feeder and seed feeders. Ideal for feeding straight onto the ground or on tables.

Birds that will love it: Fledglings, Blue Tits, Great Tits, Coat Tits, Long Tailed Tits, Robins and all ground feeding birds.

Packaging: Our 2kg and 6kg options come in a fully recyclable plastic bag. Our 12.55kg option come in a fully recyclable plastic liner in a cardboard box. Please note, the plastic liner is to protect the suet pellets in the box only and is not a carry sack. Do not attempt to pull the plastic liner out of the box.

Ingredients: Suet, Wheat Flour, Oat Flour, Peanut Flour, Maize, Millet, Dried Insects, Oyster Shell Flour, Food Colour.

Ordering process was straightforward and the item was delivered when expected. The order was packed extremely well. Maybe a minor point but the contents of the box were cushioned by recyclable bubble wrap which I appreciated and the box was taped up incredibly neatly which, to me, shows the person who did it cares. The bird food itself was of good quality and represented good value. Recomended.

Goods arrived intact. Like the packing of bird seeds in 2 bags instead of a large box. Much easier to carry and transfer into containers.

    GOOD

    15th November, 2019
It took some weeks to introduce birds to the new feeder with new birdseed into our garden. I couldn't understand why the birdseed wasn’t being eaten until after inspecting I could some grass was growing attached to the seed inside the entrance. After dislodging the birds have been feeding more regularly.
