Where to put a nesting wool holder
Find a cosy spot for your nesting wool holder in a tree or hang it near shrubs or from a sturdy branch. Add a short twig through two of the holes to give birds a comfortable perching spot.
Timing is key. Provide Woolie with nesting materials between February and July, aligning with the breeding season when birds are looking for resources to build their nests. Woolie isn't just about sheep's wool – it can be filled with twigs, moss, fluff, and grasses, giving your birds plenty of options.
