It's no secret that squirrels hog up all the food at the bird feeding station. If you want to make sure your garden birds get their share, why not distract squirrels with their own feeding area. This feeder requires no additional stains or chemical treatments and comes equipped with corrosion-resistant hinges to ensure longevity and proper function.
Setting up your Squirrel Feeder
Locate your squirrel feeder well away from any bird feeding areas. You can help them discover where their food is by propping open the lid with a stick so they learn the technique. Top up the peanuts regularly to keep the squirrels away from the bird food and dispose of any mouldy peanuts safely as these may contain toxins harmful to other birds and wildlife.
