High quality, aflatoxin tested Peanuts for wild birds
Here on the farm we've seen all kinds of beautiful birds feeding on our peanuts, including; Blue Tits, Coal Tits, Great Tits, Long Tailed Tits, Siskins, Great Spotted Woodpeckers, and Robin's.
Our peanuts are of the highest quality and are aflatoxin tested. Aflatoxin, a toxin produced by fungi, can be found in poorer quality, cheaper peanuts. If birds are exposed to it for too long the toxin can build up in their bodies and eventually lead to death.
Feeding Peanuts to Wild Birds
The best way to feed peanuts to your garden birds is in metal, mesh feeders. A lot of feeders will specify 'for peanuts' in the title, however, any mesh feeder designed for suet pellets will also be suitable.
We use these kinds of feeders to prevent birds from taking large pieces of peanut that could choke younger birds. The mesh allows the birds to break up the nuts before they take them.
Packaging: Our 2kg and 6kg options come in a fully recyclable plastic bag. Our 12.55kg option comes in a fully recyclable plastic liner inside a cardboard box. Our cardboard boxes are also made from recycled materials and our gum tape and labels are all recyclable. Please note, the plastic liner is to protect the seed in the box only and is not a carry sack. Do not attempt to pull the plastic liner out of the box.

Was a little bit more expensive than my local pet suppliers, but when I mixed the two together, it was pretty obvious why. Quality was much better and less husk. Will definitely keep buying from Ivel Valley.
